Twin Cities Pavilion

In August of 2013, Safe Step Walk-In Tub Co. surprised the 60 residents of Crestview Manor with two state-of-the-art hydrotherapeutic tubs after receiving a letter which stated the residents of the low-income assisted living facility were bathing in deplorable conditions. The company also learned that the residents were playing bingo for toilet paper so Safe Step donated toilet paper for the life to the facility, a promise it has kept. Safe Step invited Crestview’s facility director Becky Brice Nash and Shirley Perring (who wrote the original letter) to its national dealer conference to speak. One of the guests was the facility director of sister facility in Niceville, Twin Cities Pavilion, Melissa Mealer. About a week later, Safe Step received a second letter, this one from Mealer, simply asking for consideration for the 40 residents of her facility. In short, she wanted to know if lightning could strike twice. IT DID. Twin Cities received THEIR surprise when Safe Step, under the auspices of a fried chicken dinner and a presentation, treated the residents to beach towels, duffel bags and a world-class walk-in tub, wrapped in Valentine’s Day red, and a walk-in shower as well.
